
Chamber Ensemble Coordinator
Aman Parek
New to the teaching profession, Aman Parek, joined the Tampa Bay Pride Band in 2023. He plays bass trombone for the Tampa Bay Pride Band and occasionally conducts the ensemble when needed. He currently serves as one of the Members at Large and is excited to be appointed the new Chamber Ensemble Coordinator. He brings a sense of passion and expertise to the newly created role.
As a music educator, he has worked extensively with students of varying ages and skill levels, fostering not only technical growth but also a lifelong appreciation for music. Aman is committed to creating engaging and supportive learning environments where students are encouraged to explore their musical potential. He currently serves as the Orchestra and Assistant Band Director at Marshall Middle Magnet School IB, a growing Title I middle school in Plant City, FL. In addition to teaching, Aman is an active trombonist who values the collaborative spirit of ensemble playing. Aman looks forward to bringing his educational perspective, enthusiasm, and musicianship to the group, while continuing to grow as both a performer and educator within the vibrant Tampa Bay community.
Aman is a proud member of NAfME, FMEA, FBA, and FOA and is a proud advocate for music being a tool for inclusion, acceptance, and connection in all communities.
